Security Policy

Legal agreements and policies for brands and agencies using CleerCut.

1. Data Protection

CleerCut uses SSL/TLS protocols to protect data transmitted between users and the platform. Data access is restricted based on the principle of least privilege. CleerCut collects and stores only the information necessary to operate the platform.

2. User Authentication

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials. CleerCut may offer optional two-factor authentication where available. Accounts may be temporarily restricted after repeated failed login attempts.

3. Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. CleerCut does not store credit card or bank account information on its servers. Sensitive payment data is processed using industry standard security practices including tokenization and PCI compliant infrastructure.

4. Monitoring and Incident Response

CleerCut maintains security monitoring and logging mechanisms designed to detect unusual activity. In the event of a security incident, CleerCut will investigate, contain the issue, restore affected systems, and notify affected users where required by applicable law.

5. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, using secure devices and updated software, and reporting suspicious account activity to hello@cleercut.com.

6. Policy Updates

CleerCut may update this Security Policy as the platform evolves. Updates will be reflected by the last updated date at the top of this document.
