Legal agreements and policies for brands and agencies using CleerCut.

Introduction

CleerCut is committed to protecting the privacy and security of user data. This Data Retention Policy explains how long we retain personal data and the circumstances under which data may be stored, archived, anonymized, or deleted. This policy should be read together with CleerCut's Privacy Policy.

1. Active Accounts

CleerCut retains user data for as long as an account remains active and necessary to provide platform services, including account information, campaign data, communication history, and billing records. Users may request account deletion at any time.

2. Closed Accounts

After an account is closed, CleerCut may retain certain data to support legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and internal record keeping. Where possible, personal data will be deleted or anonymized once it is no longer required.

3. Legal and Financial Records

Transaction records, billing information, tax documentation, and financial compliance data may be retained for the period required by applicable financial and regulatory laws.

4. User Rights

Users may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting hello@cleercut.com. Deletion requests will be honored except where data must be retained for legal obligations, financial record keeping, active disputes or investigations, or security and fraud prevention.

5. Data Storage and Security

CleerCut uses commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, infrastructure security monitoring, and fraud detection logging.

6. Policy Updates

CleerCut may update this Data Retention Policy periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
